These Terms of Service govern your use of Reign, an expense tracking application. By creating an account or using Reign, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reign, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Reign only for lawful, personal expense tracking purposes. You may not: upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; use the service to transmit malware or spam; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service; or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service.
Subscription & Billing
Reign offers a free tier with limited OCR scans (30 per month) and a Plus tier at EUR 14/month with unlimited scans. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Plus subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time through your subscription settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Reign reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Intellectual Property
Reign and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Reign and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you upload, including receipt images and transaction information. By using the service, you grant Reign a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.
Limitation of Liability
Reign is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that OCR results will be perfectly accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently purged within 30 days. Reign reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Reign after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
