These Terms of Service govern your use of Reign, an expense tracking application. By creating an account or using Reign, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reign, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Reign only for lawful, personal expense tracking purposes. You may not: upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; use the service to transmit malware or spam; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service; or use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service.
Subscription & Billing
Reign offers a free tier with 30 OCR receipt scans total (lifetime starter quota), 3 spending wallets you create in each space, and up to 2 spaces you own. The Plus tier at EUR 13.99/month or EUR 99.99/year raises the ceiling to 400 scans per subscription month, 20 spending wallets you create in each space, and 10 spaces you own (up to 10 people you can invite to each, in addition to you). On the web, payments are processed securely through Stripe. In the iOS and Android apps, payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, which show the price in your local currency. Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period. You can cancel at any time. If you subscribed on the web, cancel from Your plan in Settings on the web. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refund eligibility depends on where you subscribed and applicable law. For web purchase questions, contact [email protected]. For purchases through the App Store or Google Play, follow that store's refund process and policies. Reign reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Intellectual Property
Reign and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Reign and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you upload, including receipt images and transaction information. By using the service, you grant Reign a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.
Limitation of Liability
Reign is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that OCR results will be perfectly accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can request account deletion through Settings > Profile after any active Plus subscription has ended. Once requested, your data will be permanently purged within 30 days. Reign reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Reign after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
