Reign is a receipt scanner and personal expense tracker for iPhone, Android and the web. It starts with what you bought, item by item.

Since January 2020, Viktor and his partner have tracked their spending: more than 13,000 transactions in six years. The tracking habit came first. Reign grew out of it.
Seeing the small, regular purchases together changed how they understood a normal month. That made it easier to plan bigger purchases six to twelve months ahead.
That experience shaped Reign's starting point: make recording a purchase easy, keep its details, and let people decide what those details mean.
What six years of tracking changed
The useful result was a clearer picture of everyday spending. A bank total tells you how much left a wallet. A receipt can show what was in the basket, including purchases you would otherwise group together.
The lesson behind Reign is to look at the records before making a plan. Start with a normal month, open the purchases behind its totals, and make room for the larger purchases you know are coming.
This is the founder's personal experience. It is not a savings study or a promise of a financial result. The examples in our guides and product demos use illustrative data, separate from Viktor's household records.
Try the method with your own records
- Record purchases in a way you can keep up: snap receipts, use Quick log, or import your existing history.
- Compare complete months and check which purchases account for a change. Grocery receipts show how quantities and prices can tell different stories.
- If you track with a partner, choose what belongs in a shared space. Members can see that space's wallets and transactions; other spaces stay private.
- Set a spending target if it helps you plan. Keep checking the purchases behind the number.
Where to find Reign
The app is listed as Reign: Receipt Scanner on the App Store and Google Play. You can also use Reign in your browser. A bank connection is not required.
Free includes 30 receipt scans to start, a one-time allowance. Quick log remains available after those scans are used. Plus includes 400 scans a month.
